Homework assistance is provided weekly along with a wide range skill building activities. Resources are made available for special projects. Small groups and one-on-one sessions are offered to maximize time and efforts. To solidify a firm foundation, an advocate is provided for the parent and child to assist in their educational plan at home and school.
The Education Center focuses on academic achievement by emphasizing instruction in critical areas such as reading, writing and math. Individual plans are developed to meet the specific need of each student.
This is a new program developed to help rising middle school students cross over from elementary to middle school. Students will receive assistance in time management and organization, study skills, note taking and test taking strategies. These fundamentals will support a healthy and successful middle school journey.
Former students of Save the Seed Education Center continue to receive support and encouragement while in college. Electronics such as computers and printers are implored for students who are unable to acquire them.
Reading mastery calls for reading at home as well as reading at school. The Read at Home program provides reading books and a variety of reading resources for parents to keep at home. Reading tips are offered to help parents work effectively with their child.
During each year, educational activities
and field trips are woven throughout the program to stimulate the mind and boost the
imagination.
Learning can never begin too early. The Early Readiness Class targets children who have not attended a preschool program prior to entering kindergarten.
